Bruce A. Buskirk

Bruce has practiced Family Law in Texas for 26 years and has dealt with just about everything that can be encountered in Family Law cases. His experience includes over 3,000 divorce cases, experience in numerous family jury trials, custody cases, modifications of custody and child support as well as enforcement cases representing both the Movant and the Respondent. An MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and law school here in Texas at South Texas College of Law in downtown Houston have provided Bruce with a solid background to deal with the business and financial challenges of Family Law cases. Service in the U.S. Army as a Field Medic and a Clinical Lab Specialist round out his experience prior to law school. Bruce enjoys playing golf, riding a Harley and was an around the buoys sailboat racer, competing in Dressage Horse Shows and being a former civil war and WW II re-enactor were primary relaxation outlets. Bruce has practiced primarily in Harris and Montgomery County locally, but has appeared in Brazoria, Galveston, Chambers, Liberty, Grimes, Polk, Tarrant, Dallas and Wichita Falls Counties in Texas during his career. As an Ohio native, Bruce has also appeared there in a visiting capacity pro hac vice.
